Position Summary Repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment such as injection molding, compression molding, mixing, milling and extruding machines.
Responsibilities \n - Perform electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance to injection molding, compression molding, mixing, milling and extruding machines.
\n - Repair auxiliary equipment such as mold heaters, ovens, loaders, spoolers, pumps, and parts conveyors by dismantling, cleaning and replacing worn or defective parts and assemblies
\n - Dismantle devices to gain access to and remove and replace any defective parts
\n - Work cross functionally with Process/Automation Engineers and Technicians to develop new machines and make process improvements
\n - Support continuous improvement through LEAN and HPT.
\n - May be required to research part availability and initiates purchase order for needed repair parts.
\n - Perform preventive maintenance and repair on all equipment related to Injection Molding, Compression Molding, and Extruders.
\n - Perform building maintenance as required.
\n - Other duties as required.
\n

Qualifications \n - Must possess High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
\n - Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
\n - Active Massachusetts Journeyman or Master electrician license preferred
\n - Active Massachusetts 2nd Class Fireman License or 3rd Class Engineer license preferred
\n - Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, basic electrical, and PLC logic is preferred.
\n - Must have good mechanical skills, trouble shooting ability
\n - Strong communication skills, written as well as verbal.
\n - Must be a US Citizen or have US Permanent Resident Status.
\n - Ability to lift and or move up to 40lbs
\n - Ability to multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with minimal supervision

Pay, Benefits, Work Schedule Competitive Compensation \n - Pay Range: $23.50/hr to $38.50/hr
\n - Participation in Annual Incentive Program
