Retail industry leader seeking a motivated Junior Instructional Designer to join our Strategic Selling and Learning & Development team. This individual contributor role focuses on writing, developing, and delivering high-quality learning materials that strengthen field associate product knowledge. The ideal candidate combines creativity and precision with a collaborative mindset, supporting initiatives that drive sales performance and business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write, design, and deliver engaging training content including video scripts, eLearning modules, and print materials.
- Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure content accuracy and alignment with business goals.
- Revise and update existing learning materials to reflect current strategies and new approaches.
- Apply instructional design best practices and adult learning principles to create effective training solutions.
- Demonstrate strong verbal communication skills, including listening, probing for understanding, and articulating ideas clearly.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
- Collaborate with a team supporting all store learning and development initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Instructional Design, Education, Communications, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in instructional design, content development, or formal writing.
- Proficiency with Articulate 360 and Microsoft Office Suite .
- Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Learning agility and a proactive, self-starter mindset.
Preferred Experience:
- Retail or field learning experience.
- Familiarity with eLearning development tools and Learning Management Systems.
