WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a MRI Technologist for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Boston, MA.

Job Function:  

\n

• Evening Shift.
\n
• 2pm to 10:30pm.
\n
• Performs MRI imaging procedures.  
\n
• Operates and/or prepares specialized equipment to perform magnetic imaging procedures.3. Assists, prepares and positions patients as required to perform MRI procedures.  
\n
• Assists in administering opaque media and or loading power injector under aseptic technique.  
\n
• Evaluates radiographs for technical acceptability and ensures images are transmitted to PACS in a timely fashion.  
\n
• Schedules exams into IDX (Radiology Information System) as required & ensures that all studies performed are completed in IDX in a timely fashion.  
\n

Job Requirements:  

\n

• 2 years of MRI Technologist experience.  
\n
• MUST have AART Certification.  
\n
• Minimum Education/Graduate of an AMA/J.C.E.R.T. approved program in Radiologic Technology.  
\n
• BLS Certification.  
\n
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred.
\n
