Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Provide support services as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) within a K-12 educational setting, focusing on elementary-aged students. This full-time contract position (January 19May 21, 2026) requires on-site presence in the Chattanooga area, working approximately 3537.5 hours per week across 1 to 3 schools depending on caseload.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with implementing speech therapy plans developed by Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs).
  • Conduct therapy sessions, support evaluations, and participate in relevant student meetings.
  • Collaborate closely with SLPs, educators, and families to support student communication goals.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and follow district protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Active Tennessee SLPA License.
  • Active Tennessee Department of Education (DOE) Certification.
  • School Services Personnel License with SLPA endorsement.
  • Experience working in a school setting preferred; candidates with 010+ years of school experience considered.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
