Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time speech-language pathology assistant (SLPA) position is available in a K-12 school setting serving elementary-aged students in the Chattanooga area, specifically near Ooltewah, TN. This contract role runs from January 19, 2026, through May 21, 2026, with assignments varying between 1-3 campuses based on caseload. The position requires on-site work with no remote or hybrid options.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Tennessee SLPA license
  • Active Tennessee Department of Education (DOE) certification
  • School Services Personnel License with SLPA endorsement
  • Experience working in school settings preferred
  • Ability to conduct therapy sessions, evaluations, and participate in meetings
  • Willingness to work with elementary school-aged students

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech therapy services to support student communication development
  • Conduct evaluations and assessments as needed
  • Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families during meetings and case conferences
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
  • Adapt therapy techniques to meet the individual needs of students

Work Details:
