This seasonal role focuses on operating functions that create an outstanding customer experience. This is an early-morning position and involves working with the task team to complete functions before the store opens. Seasonal employment has a defined duration, with potential extension or conversion based on performance and availability. Responsibilities Customer Service: Move around the store at a fast pace, assist customers with questions or needs, and deliver a positive customer experience. Executes pricing and signing: Update ticket prices and signage across merchandise efficiently. Replenish and restock: Anticipate customer needs and pull/prepare merchandise to ensure availability of styles and sizes. Receive and unload merchandise: Work with teammates to unload shipments and prepare backroom inventory. Backroom standards: Maintain a safe, clean, and organized stockroom. Online order pickup (jcp.com): Fulfill orders placed online as needed. Merchandise strategy: Implement leadership-directed placement plans and uphold merchandising standards to enhance the customer experience. Learning environment: Absorb new information from peers and training materials related to merchandising or business processes.
