Used Car Technician Responsibilities

• Perform Used car Inspections to get vehicles ready to put on front lot for sale.
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Shop Foreman and Used Car Manager to inform them of any needed repairs and provide them an estimate of cost of additional repairs needed.
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Used Car Technician Qualifications

• 2 years experience in automotive service repair required 
• Strong automotive background in all areas
• Strong teamwork skills
• Willing to submit to a drug screen & background check
• Must have clean & valid driver's license
